In 2022, I co-directed my first mini doc, “Runner’s High” an ambitious 12-minute film directed by my dear friend and collaborator Isidro Hurtado. The piece follows Thai Richards, co-founder of the Brooklyn-based running and wellness community Rage and Release. Rage combines cannabis and athletics in pursuit of wellness and looks to destigmatize cannabis use in the athletic space.

We shot the piece in 5 days during a sweaty New York City heatwave in August and premiered the film at the 2022 Ciele Film Festival in December, where we took home 2nd place. The film was then shown at a sold-out private event in NYC thrown by Rage and Release.
